Kathleen Dolsen, Administrative Assistant, attended the University of Washington School of Nursing and for twenty years she worked in emergency rooms, orthopedic and dental offices.  She visited the Island in 1973, met her husband Gary, and worked as a bookkeeper at Inter Island Medical Center. Kathleen had an opportunity to switch careers and started at PTI Communications as an Executive Secretary and in 10 years retired as Oregon Senior Division Secretary to the Vice President.   Bellevue was booming in telecommunications, and Kathleen moved there to work for a Fortune 500 company, Nortel Networks. She became a global event coordinator, and supervisor assisting the AT&T Wireless sales team.  Kathleen moved back to San Juan Island in 2003, and worked at Windermere Real Estate as Advertising Coordinator and web administrator. For the last 6 years she has been Office Manager at Westcott Bay Sea Farms.  Kathleen performs with the San Juan Singers and Ballard Chorale in Seattle. She brings the benefits of a diverse background, commitment to her community and to the environment.
